We collect the following information when you use FDD Insight:

• Account information: Your email address, collected when you sign in via magic link.
• Uploaded documents: FDD PDF files you upload for analysis.
• Usage data: Analysis history, credit balance, and service interactions.
• Payment information: Billing is processed entirely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers, CVV codes, or full payment card details on our servers.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and error logs used for service reliability.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the FDD analysis service
• Process your payments and manage your credit balance
• Send transactional emails (magic link sign-in, purchase receipts)
• Diagnose technical errors and maintain service reliability
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes. We do not sell franchise leads to franchisors or share your uploaded documents with franchisors.

Uploaded FDD documents are stored securely in Supabase cloud storage and are used solely to generate the analysis you requested.

• FDD documents are associated with your account and are not shared with other users
• Documents are not sold or disclosed to third parties
• Your uploaded FDDs are never used by FDD Insight to train AI models — they are passed to Anthropic as inference inputs to generate your requested analysis, subject to Anthropic's data handling policies
• Document retention periods are described in Section 5 below

FDD Insight uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
• Anthropic — AI model inference for FDD analysis
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Vercel — web hosting and edge delivery
• Axiom — application performance and usage analytics
• Sentry — error monitoring and diagnostics

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing them if you have concerns about how your data is handled in those systems.

We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Analysis results and reports are retained for up to 12 months from the date of creation.

Uploaded FDD documents (PDF files) are scheduled for deletion within 30 days after the analysis is completed.

We may retain limited information for longer periods where required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing [email protected].

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

FDD Insight uses only essential session cookies required for authentication. These cookies allow you to stay signed in during your session.

• We do not use tracking cookies
• We do not use advertising cookies
• We do not use third-party analytics cookies that track you across other websites

• Request deletion of your personal information
• Opt out of the sale of personal information
