Refund Policy

1. Screening Report ($79)
A refund is available for screening report credits within 48 hours of purchase, provided that no analysis has been initiated against the credit.
The screening report covers Items 5, 6, 7, 17, 19, and 20 only. It is not a full 23-Item analysis. Once you initiate a screening analysis (meaning you upload an FDD and begin extraction), the credit is considered consumed and is non-refundable, even if the output does not meet your expectations.
If you purchased a screening report and later want the full analysis, you can upgrade by purchasing a Single Analysis ($199). The $79 screening cost is not automatically credited toward the upgrade price, but you may contact [email protected] to request a courtesy adjustment within 7 days of your screening purchase.
2. Full Analysis Credits ($199)
A refund is available for single-report credits within 48 hours of purchase, provided that no analysis has been run against the credit.
Once you initiate an analysis (meaning you upload an FDD and begin the extraction process), the credit is considered consumed. No refund will be issued for consumed credits, even if:
- The analysis did not produce results you find useful
- The AI output contained errors or omissions
- The uploaded document was poorly formatted or image-based
If extraction fails due to a technical error on our end, we will issue a credit refund automatically. See our Terms of Service for details.
3. Multi-Pack Credits ($399 three-pack)
The same 48-hour window applies to multi-pack purchases. A full refund is available within 48 hours of purchase if no credits have been consumed.
If you have partially used a three-pack (e.g., used one of three credits), we will issue a partial refund for the remaining unused credits at the per-credit equivalent of your pack price:
- Three-pack: $133 per unused credit ($399 ÷ 3)
Partial refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of the original purchase, not within 48 hours of the last credit use.
4. Consultant Plans
The Consultant Plan includes up to 5 full FDD analyses per billing month unless otherwise stated at checkout. Unused monthly analysis allowances do not roll over.
Monthly Consultant subscriptions may be cancelled at any time and remain active until the end of the current monthly billing period. Annual Consultant subscriptions are billed upfront for the full annual term. Annual subscriptions are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or where a technical billing error has occurred. To cancel, use account settings or contact [email protected].
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email [email protected] with:
- Your account email address
- The order or purchase date
- The reason for your refund request
Eligible refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method via Stripe. Processing times may vary depending on your card issuer.
6. Exceptions — No Refunds After Analysis Runs
We do not issue refunds for reports where the extraction and analysis pipeline completed successfully, even if you are dissatisfied with the quality, accuracy, or usefulness of the AI-generated output.
This policy exists because AI analysis quality varies by document and use case, and we cannot resell or recover the computational cost of a completed analysis. This policy is clearly disclosed at the point of purchase.
